From download to your first clean list

Four steps. You need a Windows 10 or 11 PC and a free account on this website. Your lists stay on your PC the whole time.

    Download the app

    Get DpunkEmailVerifier.exe (version 2.0.0) from the Download page. It is one file. There is nothing to install, so you can keep it on the desktop or in any folder.

    Your browser may ask whether to keep the file. Choose Keep.

    Open it

    Double-click the file. The app opens in its own window with a short welcome tour.

    Windows protected your PC? SmartScreen shows this blue box for new programs it has not seen often. Click More info, then Run anyway. You only do this once.

    Sign in inside the app to activate

    On the License screen, choose Sign in to activate and enter the email and password of your account on this website. The app adds this PC to your account and sets up its key. Nothing to copy or paste.

    No plan yet? Click Start 3-day free trial instead. It uses the same sign-in and turns on the Pro features on this PC.

    Already have a key from your account or an email? Choose I have a licence key and paste it.

    Verify your first list

    On the Verify tab, paste your addresses or drop a .txt or .csv file. Not ready with a list? Click Load sample. Keep the Recommended preset and press Verify list.

    When the run finishes you get a plain summary, for example how many are safe to send and how many were removed. Click Export clean list to save the addresses that are safe to send.

    Colours: green is safe to send, amber needs a look, red can't receive mail, pink is a likely spamtrap. What each result means.

“Windows protected your PC”

SmartScreen shows this for any new program that has not been downloaded many times yet. It is not a virus warning. Click More info, then Run anyway.

Want to be sure the file is ours? The Download page lists its SHA-256 checksum so you can compare it. The app listens only on your own PC and never sends mail.

Machine ID

Where is my Machine ID?

Open the app and go to the License screen. The Machine ID is shown there with a Copy button. It looks like this:

It is a fingerprint of that PC, worked out on the PC itself. You only need it if you add a PC by hand in Devices & keys. Signing in inside the app sends it for you.

New computer

Moving to a new PC

  • Old PC still works? Open the License screen there and click Deactivate this PC. Then sign in inside the app on the new PC. This is never counted.
  • Old PC formatted, sold or broken? Open Devices & keys and click Move to another PC on the old one. Or just sign in inside the app on the new PC once the seat is free.
  • Lost track of several PCs? Reset all PCs frees every seat at once.

Moves from the website are limited to 3 per 30 days, plus one Reset all PCs, to stop keys being shared. A PC you moved away from stops working the next time it goes online. Need more? Contact support.
