Dpunk Made runs the Dpunk Email Verifier website and makes the Dpunk Email Verifier desktop app. This policy explains what personal data the website processes, why, and what the desktop app never collects.
Your email lists never reach us. The desktop app verifies everything on your own computer. It does not upload your lists, results or exports, and it has no usage tracking.
1. What the website collects
- Account details: your name, email address and a one-way hash of your password (we never store the password itself), plus when you last signed in and from which IP address.
- Orders and subscriptions: the plan, term, amounts, coupon used, order status, and the payment reference, coin, network and transaction ID reported by our payment processor.
- Devices and license keys: the Machine IDs you register and the license keys issued for them, the name you give each PC, when the app on each PC last checked in and its version. For free trials we also keep a one-way hash of the Machine ID so each computer can only start one trial.
- Messages: what you send through the contact form, with your name, email and IP address.
- Security and technical data: IP addresses and request details in server logs, and counters used to rate-limit sign-in and form submissions.
2. Why we use it
- To create and secure your account, take payments, issue and renew license keys and manage your devices (performing our contract with you).
- To send service emails: email verification, password resets, order and payment confirmations, license keys and renewal reminders.
- To prevent fraud and abuse, such as repeated trials or key sharing, and to keep the website secure (our legitimate interests).
- To keep records we are required to keep by law, such as accounting records.
We do not sell your personal data and we do not send marketing email without your consent.
3. Payments
Payments are processed by Cryptomus. When you pay, you are sent to their payment page and their own privacy policy applies to the data they collect there. We receive the payment status and the transaction details listed above. We never receive or store your wallet keys or seed phrase.
4. Cookies and local storage
The website uses a session cookie to keep you signed in and to protect forms against cross-site request forgery. Your light / dark theme choice is stored in your browser’s local storage. The website does not use advertising or analytics cookies. Fonts are loaded from Google Fonts, which receives your IP address when your browser fetches them.
5. What the desktop app does and does not send
- Only if you run mailbox checks on the Dpunk probe server: the addresses being checked, your licence key and your Machine ID are sent to our probe server over HTTPS. It asks the mail servers and returns the answers. The addresses are deleted within an hour of the check; for up to 24 hours the server keeps a one-way hash of each address so a repeat check is answered at once. The server's logs record counts and durations, never addresses.
- It makes DNS lookups for the domains in your list and, only if you enable SMTP probing, connects to mail servers (or your own relay) to ask about recipients. It never sends an email.
- Apart from those probe server checks, it does not send your lists, results, exports, settings or usage data to us.
- Your Machine ID is calculated on your computer. It reaches us when you sign in inside the app, when you paste it into your account, and at the license check-in below.
- Sign-in: when you sign in inside the app to activate, it sends your email and password over an encrypted connection, together with the Machine ID, a name for the PC and the app version. The password is checked and then discarded. It is never stored or logged.
- License check-in: while a license from this website is active, the app checks in once a day when it is online. It sends only the license ID, the Machine ID and the app version. We use this to deliver renewed keys, to switch off a key after you move it to another PC, to tell you about new versions, and to show “last seen” on your Devices page. Your email lists, results and exports are never sent. If the check-in cannot reach us, the app keeps working as before.
6. How long we keep data
We keep account, device and license data while your account is open. Order and payment records are kept for as long as accounting and tax rules require. Contact messages are kept while needed to handle your request, and security logs for a limited period.
7. Your rights
Depending on where you live, you may have the right to access, correct, export or delete your personal data, and to object to or restrict certain processing. To make a request, contact us at support@dpunkmade.com from the email address on your account. We may keep records we are legally required to keep. You may also complain to your local data-protection authority.
8. Security
Passwords are stored as one-way hashes, secrets such as payment and signing keys are encrypted at rest, and every form is protected against cross-site request forgery. See our security page for more.
9. Children
The Service is intended for businesses and adults and is not directed at children.

We will post any changes to this policy on this page and update the date above.
